Welcome to AgingWell.info. This Privacy Policy explains how Golden Years Essentials LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a New Jersey Limited Liability Company, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you visit AgingWell.info(the “Site”).
We take your privacy seriously. Our audience includes seniors, family caregivers, and individuals navigating sensitive health and care decisions. We are committed to handling any information you share with us responsibly, transparently, and with genuine respect for your privacy.

If you have questions, contact us below.
2. Information We Collect
We collect two categories of information: information you provide directly, and information collected automatically when you use the Site.
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you voluntarily submit, which may include:
- Contact form submissions — your name, email address, and the content of your message when you use our Contact page
- Email newsletter sign-ups — your name and email address if you subscribe to our newsletter or mailing list
- Comments — if we enable blog comments, any information you choose to include in a comment
We do not require you to create an account to use this Site. We do not collect payment information — all purchases are made directly through third-party retailers such as Amazon.

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar tracking technologies. This may include:
- Log data — your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and time and date of your visit
- Usage data — how you navigate and interact with the Site, including which pages you view, how long you spend on them, and which links you click
- Device information — the type of device you are using and its general geographic location (derived from IP address — we do not collect precise location data)
- Cookie data — described in detail in Section 5 below

4. Legal Basis for Processing (Where Applicable)
Where privacy laws require us to identify a legal basis for processing your information, we rely on the following:
- Legitimate interests — operating and improving the Site, responding to inquiries, and understanding our audience
- Consent — for email newsletter subscriptions and non-essential cookies, where we request your consent
- Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
6. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Websites
6.1 How Affiliate Links Work
AgingWell.info participates in affiliate programs including the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click an affiliate link on our Site and make a purchase, the retailer may set a cookie on your device to track that referral and attribute any commission to us.
We do not receive any personal information from retailers about your purchase. We only receive notification that a qualifying purchase was made through our affiliate link.
6.2 Third-Party Websites
Our Site contains links to third-party websites, including retailers, healthcare organizations, and reference sources. When you click these links and leave our Site, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites and encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information.
7. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
7.1 Service Providers
We work with third-party service providers who help us operate the Site. These include:
- Web hosting provider (GoDaddy)
- Analytics provider (Google Analytics)
- Email marketing platform ([Mailchimp or your chosen platform])
- Affiliate networks (Amazon Associates and others)
These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and are contractually required to protect your information.
7.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
7.3 Business Transfer
If Golden Years Essentials LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via a notice on the Site if this occurs and a different privacy policy will apply.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:
- Contact form submissions — retained for up to [12–24] months and then deleted unless ongoing correspondence requires longer retention
- Email subscriber information — retained until you unsubscribe, at which point we remove you from active lists within 10 business days
- Analytics data — retained according to Google Analytics settings, which we configure for [14 months] by default
- Legal and compliance records — retained for the period required by applicable law
9. Data Security
We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:
- SSL/HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted to and from the Site
- Limiting access to personal information to personnel who need it to operate the Site
- Using reputable, security-conscious third-party service providers
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we take data security seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security and are not responsible for the actions of hackers or other malicious third parties.
10. Children’s Privacy
AgingWell.info is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us through our contact form immediately and we will delete that information promptly.
11. Your Privacy Rights
11.1 New Jersey Residents — NJDPA Rights
As a New Jersey resident, you have the following rights under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, to the extent they apply to our processing of your personal data:
- Right to know — you may request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and access to that data
- Right to correction — you may request correction of inaccurate personal data we hold about you
- Right to deletion — you may request deletion of personal data we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions
- Right to portability — you may request a copy of your personal data in a portable format
- Right to opt out — you may opt out of the sale of personal data and targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data or engage in targeted advertising, so this right is largely not applicable here
- Right to appeal — if we decline your request, you have the right to appeal our decision
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our contact form with your full name, email address, and a description of your request. We will respond within 45 days as required by the NJDPA, with a possible 45-day extension where reasonably necessary.
11.2 California Residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) may provide you additional rights. Because we do not sell personal information, many CCPA provisions may not apply. For specific questions about your California privacy rights, contact us through our contact form.

Regardless of your location, you may:
- Opt out of our email newsletter at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any email we send
- Request that we delete information you submitted through our contact form
- Request a copy of information we hold about you
12. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals to websites. Because there is no industry-wide standard for responding to these signals, our Site does not currently alter its data collection practices in response to Do Not Track signals. We will revisit this position as standards develop.
13. Email Communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter or email list, you consent to receive periodic emails from us containing product guides, senior care tips, and site updates. You may unsubscribe at any time by:
- Clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any email we send
- Contacting us directly
We do not send affiliate links in email newsletters, as this is prohibited by Amazon Associates program terms.
We will never sell your email address to third parties.
14. Accessibility of This Policy
We are committed to making this Privacy Policy accessible to all users, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. If you need this policy in an alternative format, please contact us through our contact form and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
